I am the MasterChef dentist! Made top 40 on season 8 and I’m so happy with the experience I had with the show. I love sharing my food and experiences, so this page, as well as my instagram @paosaysopenwide, is where I do that!

I am a dentist, graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, practicing in the DC metro area.  If I were not able to practice dentistry, I would most likely become a chef. I love cooking! As I’m  married (to one of my classmates from dental school), we received a ton of great kitchen goodies off of our registry… To say that I am enjoying using all new, state-of-the-art pots, pans, gadgets, and utensils is an understatement. I love sharing what I cook as well as little tips and tricks I’ve picked up along the way. Most of my entries are written in a way that I would relay my recipes or stories to any of my friends or family… I don’t make many structured recipes because I usually just cook as I go- so if you have any questions, please just ask!
